I’ve taught in Early Childhood Education & Care services for 25 years - qualified with an Associate Diploma in Social Science and a Bachelor in Education – The Early Years. My recent professional accomplishment is my completion of the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) and am eager to share my extensive industry knowledge and wealth of teaching ideas to support and promote high-quality skills and competencies within the sector.I am computer literate, regularly creating engaging PowerPoint newsletters or researching educational content for families in my current position as Kindergarten Teacher, in an Excellent-rated ECEC service. My Bachelor studies (2010-2013) fostered my skills of leading a (face-to-face) class presentation, answering questions, and designing digital presentation to showcase a selected education topic, including theoretical concepts, relevant reading material, icebreakers, video links, quizzes, and industry-specific regulations and frameworks. Studying the TAE40116 (2021), also provided the opportunity to extend these design and presentation skills and access and utilise online channels, eg Zoom, to facilitate virtual learning for a variety of learners.
