These financial models were later presented to the executive team for deal review meetings to inform and direct decisions and overall strategy for negotiations and deals with clients. I have financially modeled over 15 deals averaging $5 million in revenue.2) I collaborated with fellow interns in a competition project against teams in researching and developing a solution for the market needs of property owners in the property rental industry. I was primarily responsible for the market research and financials. In my market research, I investigated whom the target market will by researching various data sources with insight in the property rental industry or travel in general. I created a survey for a set of property owners to support or reject certain hypotheses we had about the market need. I interviewed one such property owner over the phone to gather their input for the business case. After research, I created a financial plan and projections for the business case. Later, we presented our case to a set of judges consisting of executives and senior leadership. Our business plan and case advanced to the final round of the competition.3) I was tasked with researching usage consumption of SaaS solutions on the servers. Recommendations made better tagging of usage so deeper analysis may be made and investigate further certain client behavior to identify and fix sources of the abnormality.Financial Modeling | Strategy | Operations | Marketing Show less

In my first year, I was given the responsibility of updated the physics equipment to better serve our students. With a set budget, I researched the market and best practices to acquire the best value of equipment for the set of constraints and parameters we had. In my second year of teaching, I introduced a new course, Physics II. This was initiated by my junior students wanting to continue their education in Physics. This course was used to explore Physics in more depth and from an engineering perspective. I also became a mentor for another first year teacher, helping him develop the skills to effectively teach and manage his classroom. At the end of the year, I was honored to be awarded by faculty as the Teacher of the Year.In addition to teaching, I coached football and soccer. For football, I was responsible for coaching the freshman, particularly the offensive line. For soccer, I was an assistant varsity coach. I joined the club my freshman year and was a part of it my entire career at Notre Dame. I was fairly successful each year and ended my career by winning the 175 weight class my senior year. I had the opportunity to be a junior captain my junior year where I helped coach novice boxers, run the tournament, and help raise funds. My senior year, I was selected to be one of two co-presidents. As co-president (May 2010 - May 2011), I was in charge of running practices, communicating between the boxing club and the managers and RecSports, and increasing fundraising. As co-president, it was extremely important to pick captains that would really benefit the club in many dimensions. By picking captains who were both motivated and innovated, we were able to bring a lot of positive changes to the club. As a team, we improved:1) the conditioning and strength program for all novice and veterans boxers2) the website to be more effective and user friendly3) our marketing by broadcasting the Bengal Bouts Finals online and the use of billboards, radio ads, etc.5) donations raised to over $100,000 to the Holy Cross Missions of Bangladesh (The first time a donation of six figures was raised and donated by the club.)Also, as co-president, I had the opportunity to spend nine weeks in Bangladesh where I learned about the culture, the Holy Cross Missions, how Bengal Bouts impacts the Missions, and teach English to locals.
