I advocate and campaign for change in the UK’s health and education sectors. I am a member of the wider leadership team, and regularly report to RSWT Council. Examples of how I have driven change and success include: - Leading the co-development and delivery of The Wildlife Trust’s Health and Education strategies. - Working across land, marine, policy and public affairs teams to maximise learning and influence.- Communicating the evidence, outcomes and impact of our work through media interviews, scientific publications, conference appearances, roundtables and other policy fora.- Designing high impact evaluation and evidence programmes. - Developing and stewarding diverse networks to maximise reach.

This involved developing partnerships with organisations in South America, West Africa, East and Central Asia and co-creating conservation, climate resilience, and community engagement programmes. I was responsible for creating and maintaining i-to-i’s crisis response plan, training new members of staff and managing a team of 10 regional programme managers in the UK and 24 overseas staff. I was also responsible for Customer Relations, which involved meeting returned volunteers, running focus groups and reporting on their findings to the Executive team. April 2000 – August 2001 Asia Programmes Manager - i-to-i (TUI Group) I was responsible for the volunteer programmes in China, India, Mongolia, Sri Lanka and Thailand. I liaised with support teams in-country and prepared the volunteers before departure. I conducted overseas site visits during which I ensured the volunteers were working effectively at their projects and established new business and contacts for future development in conservation, teaching and community development volunteer projects. October 1999 – April 2000 Trainer: Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) - i-to-iI develop i-to-i's brand new on-line TEFL course - a UK first - and I taught groups of around 20 students how to teach English as a Foreign Language on intensive weekend course throughout the UK.
