I have been a part of the service industry since 2017. I began as a guest assistant at an American steakhouse called Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, where I am currently still employed. Since becoming a guest assistant at Firebirds, I have also worked as a host, take-out employee, dishwasher, sanitation employee for COVID purposes, and now server. In March of 2021, I was also granted the privilege to become a certified trainer, to train new employees and lead them to be the best fit for the restaurant as they can be. Learning all of these positions at Firebirds and remaining with the company for 5 years has allowed me to earn respect from each employee within the restaurant, and taught me that teamwork is the only way that a business is able to thrive. I love getting the opportunity to practice sales by selling dinner features and drinks to guests. I also enjoy perfecting the level of experience that I am capable of serving each and every guest with. Being able to maximize profits for Firebirds while also having the chance to make someone's day, motivates me to work my hardest and become a better server every shift.
