I provide consulting services in the fields of risk, insurance, alternative risk financing, regulation, and governance. I also act as a NED on a number of finance sector boards and NGOs.I have over 30 years of finance and insurance experience in London (1987-1995) and Guernsey (1995-2022). I have now relocated to the West Midlands in the UK.I was until 2020 the Chief Executive of Guernsey Finance, the promotional agency for Guernsey's finance industry, where I was responsible for all aspects of business development and the promotion of Guernsey's finance industry in the Island's target markets including Europe, the US, SE Asia, and South Africa. Whilst there I oversaw the strategic change from a commissioning agency to a full-service agency developing the team and culture to undertake all aspects of design and creative, PR and media, and events management in-house. I also radically changed the way the agency engaged with its client industries and participated in the overall strategy and policy development for Guernsey as an international finance centre.Prior to this I was Chief Marketing Officer of the WTW Global Captive Practice and Managing Director of its Guernsey business until 2014. Whilst there I oversaw 11 consecutive years of business growth and worked with clients such as BP, Transport for London, the Royal Bank of Scotland, ABTA, British Land, as well as running Willis' own PI captive.I am a member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. I hold a M.B.A from Warwick University and a BSc in Economics.
