Act as the primary contact for negotiation and supplier management with the ABB supply base for specialty fluids worldwide, driving the strategic sourcing process on a global basis. The GCM Manager leads, support the development, implementation and management of global strategies to provide ABB with optimal supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality and delivery performance for existing and new non-mineral oil based insulating fluids. Working closely with the Marketing and all Global Product Managers, the Commodity Manager communicates and implements strategies, contracts and pricing to all regions with an overall focus on maintaining good supplier relationships and total costs of ownership to a minimum to achieve maximum advantage for the company and its customer.As Principal Consulting R&D Scientist, serves as a technical resource on the subject of Dielectric Fluids for use in electrical equipment.
