• HFP’s lead training specialist for the “Resilience Project “which is a CDC training grant in collaboration with Philadelphia’s Substance use and Harm Reduction Unit within City Hall.• Developed a comprehensive trauma informed training program to assist direct service providers in developing various coping methods to help buffer the impacts of the secondary traumatic stress that can occur within their job roles. • Developed and facilitated monthly trauma informed workshops on topics such as, “Cognitive reframing”, "Motivational interviewing”, “LGBTQIA cultural humility and best practices”, “Understanding gender bias” and “Mindfulness practices.” • Collaborated with a diverse network of trauma informed training consultants through organizational outreach and by recommendation, strengthening the inclusivity of this project by having guest facilitators of various backgrounds facilitate workshops and share their expertise on trauma informed topics and best practices. • Key achievement: During the 2022 project grant year there were a total of 40 Resilience Project workshops held. Hosting over 1800 participants both locally in Philadelphia, as well as reaching providers nationally and from different countries across the world, for example (Vietnam, India, Ireland, Canada and the UK.)

● Facilitated Bi Weekly Self Help support groups for Youth who access our facility for drop in services. ● Provided Intake case management utilizing trauma informed approaches to conduct housing assessments through coordination with the office of homeless services for youth who are experiencing various forms of homelessness.● Coordinated housing matches for youth who receive housing assistance through the office of homeless services. ● Key achievement: Maintained and input data and documented case notes on upwards of a 100 clients per month surrounding services provided to clients within the synergy outreach program.● Managed client data spanning across multiple electronic data-based systems for accurate reports and statistics for Synergy program funded grants.

● Maintained Prevention Housing Program Budget on a monthly basis, which included client subsidized rental amounts, funds allotted for utility support and rental application support.● Worked with youth participants to develop and maintain comprehensive youth-driven goal plans.● Attended multiple city government public speaking forums as a representative of the Attic speaking on issues regarding LGBTQ youth homelessness and the implementation of city policy changes needed to better serve the youth within our community. ● Developed case management programming for new prevention housing grant awarded by the City of Philadelphia Office of Homeless Services.● Collaborated with a University of Pennsylvania student to design a new host home housing program for LGBTQ youth in Philadelphia, which was awarded $100K funding in 2019.● Key achievement: Successfully housed 20 youth at risk of homelessness utilizing prevention funds within the first 4 months of the programs launch, including identifying suitable apartments and landlords and supporting youth through the move-in process.

● Key achievement: Founding member of a cultural competency training team that provides training and outreach to build supports for LGBTQ youth in the child welfare system.● Facilitated over 50 training's to community organizations, reaching over 1,000 child welfare professionals including social workers, administrative, and support staff, and over 250 youth involved in systems of care.● Created dynamic, interactive curricula grounded in research on best practices for working with LGBTQ youth.● Hosted a variety of public forums for raising awareness around LGBTQ youth and homelessness.● Mentored emerging youth leaders within The Attic around topics such as professional development, time management, public speaking, and story development.
