CurrentSenior director of Nokia's end-to-end circular supply chain, which includes a portfolio of remanufactured products across Fixed, Mobile, Routing, and Optical business groups. SCO is a global operation with facilities in the United States, Poland, and France. Nokia is a world leader in telecommunications equipment remanufacturing with an active portfolio of 103 product families accounting for thousands of orderable items sold to 232 different Operators worldwide. Nokia's annual volume of remanufactured product includes over 100,000 circuit packs and 3,000 configured systems all remanufactured to like new condition. Revenue from the sale of Nokia remanufactured products equates to tens of millions of euro's with margins that exceed new. As "reuse" is the ultimate form of recycling, Nokia has enabled a total of 174 metric tons of CO2 emission avoidance, which is the equivalent of 66,000 vehicles off the road for 1 year. Prior to working for Nokia, Don's background consisted of manufacturing and business management experience in the industries of telecommunications, X-ray security, and biometric products. He holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, dual M.S degrees in Business Management and Telecommunications from Boston University.
