Direct responsibility for facility operations and direct oversight of Echo, Radiology, Transport, and Volunteer Services. Partner to nursing leadership to maintain a collaborative interdisciplinary patient-centered environment. On-site supporting leadership to all interdisciplinary matrix and support services departments within Cape Canaveral Hospital.

Plan, Organize and Direct overall operation of the Facilities Division at Cape Canaveral Hospital. Responsible for compliance of regulation and standards for regulatory agencies such as Joint Commission, OSHA, AHCA, and NFPA. Organize and Direct the team to fulfill department and hospital goals, oversee operating and capital budgets, and ensure facility work orders and preventive maintenance services are completed successfully.

Drove premier human resources, employee development, and quality of life service organization. Provided strategic planning, personnel and project management, program execution and force development for a portfolio of 26 facilities valued at $52M including: 257-room lodging operation, Manpower/Continuous Process Improvement team, education and training center, marketing, human resources, four restaurants, golf course, youth center, child development center, arts and crafts, auto hobby shop, outdoor recreation, and formal Leadership School.

Led 199-person squadron and staff, planned and executed $125M operation and maintenance budget as principal financial advisor to wing commander and senior staff, responsible for 350K+ financial transactions totaling $20B+ annually and chief financial advisor for $1.3M non-appropriated fund.

Developed briefs for the Secretary, Chief of Staff, and Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management & Budget that outline strategic analysis, evaluation, and proposals for Air Force budget and financial issues. Created, articulated, and defended the Air Force’s President’s Budget submission to Congress, the media, and the public. Served as lead for all media inquiries related to Air Force budget.

Developed, coordinated, published, and monitored long-range Air Force strategic plans for Total Force human capital management and led senior level interviews for Headquarters Air Force study team tasked to define focus areas for personnel support to multi-service organizations in the Defense Joint-Basing concept.

Responsible for all military personnel actions, regional exercise & contingency planning, reserve mobilization actions, coordination with the Japan Joint Staff Office, awards and decorations, evaluations and performance reporting, and administration of the Status of Forces Agreement between US and Japan.

Managed a 14-member flight responsible for business process reengineering, requirements development, and implementation of innovation and efficiency within operations processes. Also served as a member of the Combined Air Operations Center Operations Support Cell in a deployed environment.

Developed timing and accession/phase planning for operational, maintenance, and support requirements for programmed aircraft acquisition, repurpose, or phase out required to perform the Air Mobility Tanker mission. Defended those requirements to HQ Air Force Mobility Panel for validation and entry into official Air Force Budget request.

Developed and implemented Special Operations mission and support manpower requirements for varying and unique mission capabilities.
