Professional Woodwind Technician:Don Trimble has worked in the local industry for 30 + years and is a highly regarded woodwind technician and saxophone player in the LA and Orange County areas. Over the pass 10 years Don has honed his brass working skills as a brass woodwind technician as well as providing services not just exclusive to saxophonists and single Reese’s woodwinds. Don's work ranges from routine maintenance too complete instrument overhaul and restoration to all vintage & modern instruments. This includes custom an modifications work to satify the customers needs.Don started his career in the early 1970's where His first hands on job was learning how to disassemble, cleaned and re-assemble woodwind and brasswind instrument. Soon after working part time for a few years, Don became a full time woodwind employee at the age of 16 he started on his woodwind apprenticeship working under the instruction of woodwind player and owner Terry Clark, at Kay Kayle's Music repair shop in Buena Park California. During this time Don decided to further his career by enrolling at Orange Coast College and completing his brass and Woodwind repair studies. Soon after leaving college, Don decided to venture out on his own and began servicing Woodwind and BrassWind instrument for several years until 2009 when Sam Ash Music store offered him a full time position to open a new repair shop in their Torrance California music store. I December 2013 I was hired on with Music & Arts Formally Anaheim Band Instrument as their shop Manager/ lead Woodwind technician. Where he has been working on woodwinds for arts like Sal Lozano of the Big Phat Band. As of January 20, 2015 I left M&A to venture out on my own again working for myself as a freelance musician & full time Woodwind repair shop in Orange off the 55 Freeway.
