Project Manager for all Inside The Building (ITB) conversion work required to convert the Coal Fired Sundance Unit #5 existing Steam Turbine and Generator set to Combined Cycle Operation. Project included; engineering design reviews, equipment assessment, life cycle, conversion budget development for life cycle and conversion activities inside the existing.

Alberta Thermal Generation Stations (Sundance, Keephills, Wabamun)

Acting Turbine Team Supervisor 2008 - 2012 Project manager of turbine generator annual outages, and Alberta Thermal forced outage work scopes. Duties include the development of financial forecasts, RFQ’s, requisitions, safe work plans, scope development, schedules, and troubleshooting equipment. Work directly with engineering to develop engineering scope.

Wabamun Power Station

In this role I suprvised both Electical and Mechanical Maintance personel for work in the Wabamun Power Station. While doing this role I also did some project work with the Turbine/Generator team. All work in the Wabamun Power station was directed by myself to be completed weather it was Electrical or Mechanical. I would schedule personel to troubleshoot.

Wabamun Generation Station

As a Red Seal Electrician I worked on all plant equipment troubleshooting and maintance. This involves Low voltage and High voltage cricuts, motor controlls, MCC's, and all other equipment for a power station. This also included work with PLC's. Inculuding all Industal Electrical work.Additional duties included All Turbine/Generator Turbovisory monitoring.

Alberta Thermal Power Station (Sundance, Keephills, Wabamun)

My time in the Mechanical Maintance group included Labour duties, then became a Red Seal MillWright, and work my way to becoming the foremen for my work group. This work included all mechanical work on the Alberta Thermal Generating Power Station. I also was the Acting Foremen for the Turbine Team. This group Completed all work on the Turbine/Generators at.

Cold Lake Pilot Plants (May & Lemming Plants)

While working at Esso I trainned and achieved my 4th Class Power Engineering. These duties included, the operation of the plant boilers and Aux systems for steam injection. This also included the operations of the steam injection and oil recovery system, including start up and controll of the pump jacks through out various satellite buildings.
