Hands-on and client facing PM for automated equipment manufacturer who's specialty is high precision custom and customizable automated plastic joining machines and componentry. Managed client contact, generated equipment specifications, managed and developed budgets, generated schedules, quoted and negotiated engineering change notices, defined pre-project deliverables, monitored cash flow through duration of project, and tracked accounts payable through duration of programs.Managed 20+ projects simultaneously.Automated PM tasks using a combination of Extol Intranet, Excel, Smartsheet & Smartsheet reporting functions, eWay CRM softwares all in lieu of ERP system to lean out cash flow mapping, revenue forecasting, and unifying timeline information across several projects and programs.

Zeeland Michigan

Purveyor of floating marine environmental monitoring platforms, primarily TIDAS Monitoring Buoys for coastal regions. Continued TIDAS buoy offerings including new buoys, backwards compatible upgrades, and replacement parts, with contracted manufacturers of those components.

Holland Michigan

Largely a self-directed position responsible for wiring and installing electrical components in a manufacturing cell that feeds the large yacht assembly line. Responsible for design refinements and manufacturing engineering collaboration for improving efficiency. Note: Tiara’s new production yachts hit production line rate at hull #2, with minimal launch refinement from prototyping. Also other trained electrical technicians in this work cell. Regularly audited and updated ERP information in collaboration with Production Control, Engineering, and other departments.

Holland Michigan

Succeeded in a variety of capacities in a department devoted to the management of the engineering and manufacture of yachts for two European firms. Capacities included component specification (including parametric CAD modeling of custom components) for domestic sourcing, Bill of Material / ERP structuring, input, auditing, and organization. Documented and published manufacturing process information. Collaborated on Design and Engineering of jigs and fixtures. Also handled vendor liaison work with suppliers in the U.S. and the Netherlands. Trained manufacturing personnel on the installation of components unique to these yachts.- Tiara has since withdrawn from the manufacture of boats for other companies as well as other ceased diversification efforts as their primary markets rebound.

One of S2's diversification efforts has resulted in a very interesting business pursuit in the world of floating data acquisition systems (weather buoys). These environmental data buoys are still seasonally deployed across the Great Lakes provide environmental scientists, drinking water treatment operators, boaters, weather forecasters, search-and-rescue crews, and many others with publicly available, real-time lake and weather conditions via the web. Other deployments included locations such as Alaska and Lake Champlain in New York State. Technical writing capacity for a wide array of process and product specification, illustrating, and publishing. I Also built, implemented, and lead the maintenance of a distribution system for controlled documentation in nearly half a million square feet of manufacturing space.
