Led the development of Sequent Health Physician Partners, a clinically integrated network (CIN) operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northside Hospital. Sequent provides data analytics, a physician-based care coordination model, and on-the-ground support resources to make improvements at the point of care, resulting in high quality clinical outcomes for patients. Sequent also provides physicians access to value-based reimbursement contracts that reward them for delivering high quality, cost effective care. Led the development of PhysicianCare, an employed physician network operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC). Successfully recruited a number of physicians to the community, opened several de novo physician practices, and acquired independent practices into a quality, highly integrated multi-specialty physician enterprise. Developed a high level of interdependence between the physician network and the health system to benefit from operational synergies and a more seamless patient experience. PhysicianCare was highlighted as one of MGMA’s Most Successful Practices in 2012 and 2013.

MAY was a management service organization (MSO) that provided a comprehensive array of business services to employed and community physicians. The MSO was a "soup to nuts" solution for physicians owning their own practice but not wanting to have to manage the 'business' of healthcare. MAY provided revenue cycle, accounting, IT infrastructure, staffing, operational support and professional practice management. The network tripled in size over five years, as independent practices joined and new physicians were recruited to the community. The MSO employed all non-physician staff that supported the offices. MAY was acquired by Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and became a part of their integrated delivery model.

Central Washington Family Medicine (CWFM) is a family practice residency program affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. CWFM was originally started as a joint venture of the two community hospitals to address the critical shortage of primary care access in the community. CWFM provides graduate medical training for family practice residents, which includes providing them a continuity panel of patients to care for during their residency. My assignment was to manage the continuity practice, giving the residents the experience of working in an "ideal clinic" setting. I also taught the practice management curriculum for the third year residents. The residency included 18 residents and 14 faculty physicians. In an effort to ensure long-term funding for the program, I assisted in the application for the residency to became a federally qualified health center (FQHC), which is now called Community Health of Central Washington.
