Supervised, directed personnel planned and managed the Battalion's eighteen (18) Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama Projects via development of project programming packages, performed site visits to acquire existing field condition information and established templates for Seabee specific projects. This work provided the Battalion with an additional 1,665 man-days of Innovative Readiness Training (IRT), gaining 118 Construction skills, increasing battalion operational readiness by 48% and saving the Army Customer $406,217 in construction.Defined and maintained the highest of standards for the Battalion Operations Department.Deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom-December has Operations Engineering Officer, Public Affairs Officer and Ordnance Officer – December 2008 – November 2009 (OIF IX). Successfully applied expert knowledge of architectural / engineering principles on thirteen (13+) missions, operating in a hostile environment throughout Iraq, to include construction of new boat ramps, sustainment of forward operating bases, including various missions to identify and analyze main supply routes, culvert hazards and bridges to ensure safe passage of Joint Forces Troops deployed to the Anbar Province, Iraq.

September 2007 – June 2011; June 1996 – August 2004 Provided experience in design and construction administration of professional office buildings, medical facility campus planning, healthcare facilities, assisted living facilities, student dormitories, research laboratories, post offices, churches, and interior renovations for multiple clients including but not limited to United States Postal Service, HealthSouth Hospital, Brookwood Medical Center, St. Vincent’s Hospital, the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Alabama, Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, and the U.S. Army Southern Research Institute (SRI), estimated at $225 million dollars of work. Oversaw the coordination of technical plans, gathered and organized data to be included in project specifications. Reviewed, coordinated and approved construction related project shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications. Resolved construction deficiencies and/or problems through project on-site field visits with contractor and/or client. Maintained written project progress reports.
