As a professional with 20 years of honorable service in the United States Army with significant contributions in administrative, talent management, mentoring and recruiting roles, I am well positioned to help any company or business with their administrative/recruiting mission. I am a dedicated individual and take my responsibilities seriously. During my time serving in the military I have held several positions; each of which have challenged me as well as provided amazing experiences and opportunities.During my career, I have applied my proven expertise and ongoing professional development to meet and exceed all objectives put before me. My time as a recruiter helped hone my skills in the area of communication, teamwork, and mentorship. It has also enhanced my ability to present with confidence. My previous position as a Readiness Non-Commissioned Officer (Senior HR Manager) helped provided me with skills in the area of payroll and teaching as well as building training schedules. I managed an office of over 40 employees as well as trained peers in other departments. As an Medical Readiness Non-Commissioned Officer (HR Medical Records Supervisor) I learned to be highly organized in order to meet critical submission deadlines. I processed workmens comp claims and helped employees file benefits claims. I also had to develop my leadership skills to effectively supervise subordinate employees as well as hold briefings to keep superivors informed on employee medical status. I further developed my computer skills through daily submissions of electronic files, building and editing excel sheets and word documents. I have also worked as a Contracting Officer Representative providing support for obtaining and following government work contracts. Ensuring contract requests followed the appropriate channels and awarded contracts work descriptions were followed. During my 20 years in the Active Duty Army, I have had the opportunity to attend many Leadership Training courses which have provided further skill development. I have an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance, showing I am a competent and trusted individual. In addition to attending and teaching Leadership courses, I am also well versed at teaching courses such as Suicide Prevention, Equal Opportunity, Time Management, and Sexual Harassment Assault Response and Prevention .While I have thoroughly enjoyed my positions in the Army as an Active Duty Soldier, I am ready to utilize my skills in a different setting.
