The Majnoon Oilfield in southern Iraq, with 12.6 million barrels of reserves, is one of the largest untapped oil fields left on earth. First phase of the project is First Commercial Production (FCP) of the oil scope, to establish a continuous production level of 220k BBLS/DAY, followed by FCP gas scope, to minimize flaring and to deliver a rapid and effective gas utilization solution. • Responsible for the delivery of all front-end engineering for all oil & gas projects, and infrastructure (non-oil & gas, including Real Estate) related projects for the Majnoon Project.• Acted as the FEDM (Front End Development Manager).• Ensured a smooth transition of the engineering organization to the desired state due to the changing challenging business environment.• Acted as the Contract Holder for a 220 million EPSC (Engineer, Procure and Supply) Contract with Foster Wheeler Kentz, and plays a pivotal role in the contract re-negotiations which are required due the changed business environment and the situation in Iraq.

The Land Projects consist of a 100 million plus portfolio of well hook-up and compression projects (KISS-skids).• Responsible for ensuring availability of quality staff, identifying and developing talented engineering staff, all cross-discipline issues, quality assurance of Engineering Studies (HAZID’s and HAZOP’s, IPF/SIL, etc.), Basis for Design (BFD) and Project Specification work. Accountable for DEM1/DEM2 (Design and Engineering Manual) compliance, managing the technical deviation process. • Provided the interface between Development, Engineering and Projects, manages the engineering budget and delegated maintenance engineering (modifications) budget and provides the one-to-one interface between NAM Engineering and ISC Engineering. • Key contributor to continuous improvement efforts such as “BFD-in-1-go”
