Ensure departments timely completion of daily job assignments, employee safety, and resident 311 work requests. Responsible for quantifying field projects, from start to finish, while keeping within budget for each project. Other key responsibilities included managing snow command, created processes to ensure budget alignment, kept records of all work performed by hired contractors, and managing other needed projects.- Measured and tracked projects to ensure proper specifications of work is performed and executed.-Understood weather forecasts and worked with Infrastructure Bureau Chief to assign proper numberof employees and equipment for each snow event. This process breaks out the city into a zoned system clearly outlining next scheduled maintenance of the area. 311 operators are able to quickly respond to city residents who make inquiries.- Managed the Bureau of Infrastructure pavement patching and crack sealing program that requires on site visits on days that contractors were working.- Supported Evanston’s green initiatives by dismantling outdated parking meters to properly recycle all of its components leading to zero waste- Collaborated with all divisions during city-wide emergencies
