My career in the IT field began with Pomeroy IT Solutions. I would be part of a two person team going out to PA State Liquor Stores to install new Linux based POS systems and install the on site servers. After that job ended I went to work for Apex systems contracted to Unisys. The job was Dell Hardware support. I enjoyed the job but it put a lot of wear on my car. I went from there to a Help Desk position at Randstad working on the Honeywell contract. After about 2 years there I went to work for Pomeroy IT Solutions again, this time working for Hershey Medical Center as part of the onsite hardware Break/Fix team. We would support Dell and Lenovo PCs, laptops, and tablets. We would also support HP printers. From there I went to work for Teksystems contracted to Wellspan, first to assist with deploying hardware and assisting with the transition of Philhaven into Wellspan's network, then for Hardware deployment, testing, and go-live support of Epic software within Wellspan's hospitals and offsite locations.
