Dr. Donald Long, for over 25 years, has been providing management assistance to elected and appointed officials. Donald specializes in the areas of in compensation and classification, fire/EMS studies, organizational reviews, staffing analyses, and cost containment. Additionally, Dr. Long also advises on issues regarding human resources, staffing and organizational reviews, program evaluations, public policy/productivity, strategic planning, public safety services, and other related management areas. Dr. Long has provided public sector management and financial consulting assistance to over 300 governmental and nonprofit agencies in a variety of service areas, including management research studies for cities, counties, and public agencies in the area of organization and management, human resource systems, staffing and cost-benefit analysis, and strategic planning. He possesses a Master’s Degree from George Washington University, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Finance from Florida Atlantic University. Donald Long has also taught Master’s Level courses in public administration, public finance, and human resources administration.
