Transportation Security Officer
Current-Act in professional and courteous manner at all times and recognize needs of individuals who may require special screening and assistance.-Continually monitor individuals' behaviors as they enter and pass through security checkpoints and alert superiors when suspicious behaviors are observed.-Operate screening equipment to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo, and on passengers,and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircrafts.-Ensure the occupational health and safety guidelines are followed in a timely manner.-Immediately respond to breaches of security and emergency situations.-Attend and participate in information briefings concerning security-sensitive or classified information.-Ability to learn the theories, dynamics,and factors, underlying the aviation screening process to enable authoritative and independent handling of screening functions.
