Sales Manager

Greater San Diego Area

We would work with company executives, professionals, public figures, small/mid size companies, nonprofits, and families on helping them meet their financial goals and protect their assets.I was licensed to offer insurance products such as life, health, property and casualty, and investment solutions. While working with Prudential we would work with company executives, professionals, public figures, small/mid size companies, nonprofits, and families on helping them understand their financial goals and give them well thought out solutions to help them achieve those goals. At Prudential we offered many financial products and as a registered investment advisor we were able to participate in our clients financial success by offering an annual fee to manage customer assetsThe incentive was that as the assets grew, so did the amount paid on the fee to the advisorIt was a mutually beneficial arrangement that provided a partnership of shared financial interest so our clients could be confident that we had their best interests at heart. We also used advanced product knowledge and advanced financial concepts to network and grow our base of professional high net worth clients. Some programs I would offer are full financial planning and solutions, estate planning, key man insurance, business continuation insurance, company benefits and retirement accounts, mortgage protection, life stage planning, budgeting, and life, health, and property casualty insurance. My own practice was focused on women because I felt there were many opportunities with helping women with financial planning because they were mostly neglected by my peersAt the time it was believed that women were too fearful to invest and didn't have a lot of capitalIt provided a great opportunity to build and grow my practice as I had very little competition and loyalty from my clients because I took their needs seriously who would refer me to other teachers, nurses, doctors, lawyers and many business executives.

Hospital Corpsman

I joined the Navy my junior year of high school a year before entering serviceI began my training in Great Lakes, and from there I was assigned to Naval Hospital Newport Rhode Island. I was given many different responsibilities and assignments due to my willingness to learn In Naval Hospital Rhode Island I worked in the fiscal department approving budgets and researching cost savings inventory by looking for alternatives or bulk discount pricingWe would combine department orders to achieve lower costs to the base. My goal was to keep each department at or below budget without reducing quality of care. I would research orders to ensure orders met minimums and discount thresholds. We would combine orders and split budgets to find cost savings. After that assignment I was deployed to the United Nations in Zagreb, Croatia where I worked in a field hospital in the emergency room and a patient ward. We treated Peacekeepers and the local population to support the United Nations goal of peace and stability. The Navy then sent me to Jacksonville, NC for training to work with the Marine Corps. I was then assigned to 1st Marine Division in Camp Pendleton where I worked as the Preventive Medicine Representative for over a thousand Marines where I was personally responsible to make sure Marines were immunized for deployment and also identifying and treating communicable diseases. I also prescribed medication and performed minor surgical procedures for the Marines in my unit. We were deployed to Okinawa, Tokyo, and Darwin Australia. Honestly, the best four years of my lifeI'm am grateful my country let me serve because I benefited more from my service in the military than the military and our nation benefited from my service.
