As a Financial Advisor:This is one of the greatest and most challenging roles that I play. I consider my business a family, and my clients have become and continue to be some of my closest friends and biggest supporters. I may run a business, but I never lose sight of what’s important – my clients. My top priority is to maintain a financial management process that helps meet the needs of each individual and make adaptations as major life changes occur. I can’t see the future, but I like to help clients plan for it. As a mentor:I give back to the program that helped me, The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR). After a life changing motorcycle accident that left me in a wheelchair, TIRR and its staff helped me to assimilate back into society and establish a sense of normalcy. Because of my experience with the transition, it’s incredibly rewarding to give back to the program that gave so much to me. I volunteer to coach individuals and families through the adjustments and challenges of learning to live with a new physical disability.
