Technology program manager for a three-year industry initiative to accelerate trade settlement to T+1. Group squad lead of agile teams for P&S Trade Processing, Institutional Trading, Settlements and Regulatory Reporting. Represent Fidelity on industry working groups that lead in the advancement of capital markets infrastructure and lower participation costs.

Responsible for managing product strategy of key initiatives, modernization roadmap, and operational structures. Program management for large initiatives including T+1 and DTCC Project Ion. Serve as the central control for regulatory examinations and financial audits. Influenced Fidelity’s strategic direction for a new books & records system that bridges existing lines of business on to a new modernized platform. Ran exploratory initiatives to research blockchain/DLT technology and atomic payments. Lead a team as a product owner and squad leader that designed and development a nucleus component of a next generation settlement system. Created a multiyear product roadmap and oversaw its technology architecture and database designs.

Led product development for securities settlement and inventory management supporting Fidelity’s brokerage business. Delivered strategic initiatives for trade clearance, international settlements, depository management and securities lending. Built a SWIFT based management system for US Treasuries on an aggressive schedule to meet critical business and regulatory objectives. Responsible for 15c3.3 customer protection of customer fully paid securities. Supported business operations for middle & back offices, capital markets, regulatory control, and audits. Managed a team of 20-25 in 3 US locations and India.

Led in the design and development of a dividend & interest payment allocation system. Delivered a dividend reinvestment system that was a product innovation and popular with Fidelity’s retail customers. Integrated dividend processing with trade processing, tax lot accounting, domestic/international tax reporting, settlements, and customer reporting. Managed a team of 6-10 developers.

Developed programs for Fidelity’s order routing system that managed order flow to the stock exchanges. Was part of a team that implemented an Autocage system that managed Fidelity’s clearing and settlement needs. Designed and developed a real-time stock transfer agent system.
