I have been in the floor covering business for 35+ years. Starting as an installer and working my way up to management and then owning the largest Union Labor shop in Northern California during the 80's and 90's. I am a very detail oriented estimator. I have been involved with many high end projects demanding exact calculations and labor control all around the country.I am a certified Journeyman installer In Carpet, Hardsurface, Engineered Hardwood and Plastic Laminates. Extensive product knowlege both Commercial and Residential. Extensive background in Floor Covering takeoffs, product selection, specifications and quantative detailed bid packages submitted by contractor deadlines. I was originally trained " old School" with physical blueprints and excel spread sheets.I have updated my knowledge base to include computerized take-offs using the RFMS Measure Professional programs.Specialties: Ability to read detailed Blue-prints.Working knowledge of RFMS, NHMS and Measure 2008, Measure 2009Ability to read and understand Product Specifications.Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point
