Reviewed client accounts for proper risk ratings to ensure AML compliance with BSA standards. Investigated client relationships throughout the bank to ensure accurate analysis of risk for the bank. Determined bank compliance on a case by case basis through review of clients’ potential to cause Regulatory Risk or Reputational Risk to the bank. Ensured ‘Know Your Customer’ standards were being met as set out by the bank’s regulator, the OCC. Performed and reviewed screening against OFAC and other BSA hot lists. • Consistently recognized through the Citi ‘Galaxy of Thanks’ program as completing the most cases in the group for a given production period

AML Onboarding Responsibilities- Performed CIP Verification of new and existing customer to comply with federal legal standards as well as internal policies and standards- Served as point of contact for other parts of the bank to answer queries on behalf of the AML Onboarding Group 1-2 days per week- Obtained proper information and documentation to support Customer Risk Ratings in order to determine the proper level of due diligence under the Bank's Policies and Standards- Worked with Sales Assistants and Line of Business Support Groups to Gather and Organize necessary documentation for foreign high risk customers including Wolfsberg Questionnaires and USA Patriot Act Certifications.Data Enrichment and Remediation- Performed Client Information Enrichment and Remediation in order to enhance WFS's adherence to KYC standards.- Gathered information on industry type and markets served in order to more accurately risk rate clients- Reacted to recently changed CDD standards and redesigned functions to conform to the new, more stringent standards.Accomplishments*One of only three people in the AML Onboarding Group working on both Onboarding and Data Enrichment and Remediation*Chosen to perform all Quality Assurance for the Data Remediation Project
