Material Control Specialist
Current• Responsible for the care, inventory accountability and security of the material, valued in excess of $1.5 Billion contained within the Supply Yard/Warehouse for the Iraq 140 Program.• Responsible for the Local Nationals and Iraq Army Soldiers assigned to the warehouse complex, in making sure they understood our mission and were integrated into the process for accountability, inventory and issue of the spare parts housed at the warehouse.• Primary custodian of operations and material accountability for the Besmaya Warehouse that included over 3,500-line items and in excess of 90,000 parts. • Significant contribution during this time was to be entrusted as part of a research team that did a line by line work session to ensure 100% accuracy of the deliverable weekly Tank Status Report that allowed for a superior product going to the US Government and the Government of Iraq.
