While finishing my last semester remotely from Cleveland, I have been working at International Sourcing Group as a logistics intern. I have been working with our team to import products from Asia for both established, large customers and independent startups. I have gained experience in managing purchase orders and invoices, tracking customer orders, communicating with customers, tracking finances, market research and communicating with third party logistics companies.

Since the summer of my sophomore year in high school I have worked as a construction laborer for a contracting company. I worked on both commercial and residential job sites. Jobs included indoor and outdoor painting, building decks, additions, remodeling, etc. I worked in a team environment every day and communicated with customers to explain project details.

Throughout high school, I did landscaping on the side such as mowing, leaf removal and mulching. During my senior year, I decided to put my skills to use by starting a leaf removal business. I had ten clients, hired two additional employees and maintained financial records. This experience helped me to understand the complexities of running a business such as maintaining communication with clients and employees and staying organized.
