As a Technical Specs Coordinator, I am responsible for advancing all client Technical and Labor requirements and information as it relates to an event. I am responsible for maintaining our inventory and proposal generating database. I am called upon to produce technically sound proposals for our Sales team and Account Management teams, meeting Client budgets, while hitting targeted revenue margins. In addition, I lias with our Production and Accounting teams during execution and post event, to transition our proposals into true and correct invoices for the client, in a timely manner. Essentially, every department at Ovation relies on the information I pull together from various sources to be accurate and on time, in order to perform their portions successfully, thereby enabling our client to have an excellent and impactful event.

• As an Executive Meeting Manager I am responsible for the soliciting, negotiating, booking and servicing of new and repeat business through telemarketing, mailings, and referrals to maximize room and catering revenues. Plan, up sell and detail the meeting/function with the client, including space requirements, times, equipment, menus, and billing instructions. Complete the contracts, prepare areas in the hotel, and resolve any issues, complaints, and/or problems to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction

Act as a liaison between the hotel sales staff and customers. Drive revenues for both hotel and Core by providing technical assistance at the sales, planning and operational stages of various events. Facilitate a flawless event and ensure future sales. Also, to handle all hotel staff and conference guests’ requests as they relate to Networking and Internet access.

• Manage the operation of the hotel's Audio Visual Department. Manage the audiovisual staff, enhance relations with hotel staff, secure contracts with clients, customer service, scheduling, inventory control, training, and ensure a profitable business center. Ensure the successful operation of an in-house Audio Visual provider, by supervising several employees on daily operations and sales efforts. Promote growth by training employees and providing support to their chosen career path. Drive revenues by balancing costs with revenues, while satisfying the client's event needs and requirements.
