•Locate, develop and select qualified sources according to company expectation, and negotiate with suppliers to meet highest quality at best value.•Support the operation business development effort with current and potential suppliers.•Assign planners to follow material schedule and payment. Help and guide planners to deal with some accidental tough issue.•Development / implementation of purchasing strategies and Indicators, monitor supplier performance include delivery, quality, service. cost etc.•As a team leader, Preparing quote packages with relevant information and make supplier selection, to arrange suppliers to make samples and coordinate the sample approval•Coordinating customer and supplier efforts to place PO’s.Auditing and following up any quality issues during the production.

•Responsible for the mechanics, die-cut & package, resin, paint, electronis parts, to develop new suppliers, maintain the supply base. •Quarterly cost down/ quarterly bizness review with suppliers. Overall monitor supplier on-time delivery performance, work with quality manager to monitor the supplier quality performance quarterly. •Technical negotiation with R&D engineers to work out the best utilization including the layout and part machine utilization in RFQ & NPI phase. Acting as material manager for new projects, includes ESI/RFQ/NPI/MP/EOL phase. •Acting as GSM for new technology and new material. Regular meeting with plant function teams to meet plant KPI like incoming FR, CoPQ. •Production issues follow up, and support engineers on product efficiency optimization , •Lead the team on continual improvement and cost reduction program on all MP products. •Also acting the problem solver with supplier for any urgent case in company level.

•Overall manage the programme internally and act as the main window with customer, responsible for all the project related issues. •Team management: Lead and manage the team staffs(10 persons) in all related projects from different functions, drive the whole team to make sure the project schedule on-time achieved.•Define product stage based on product build performance.•Product trouble-shooting: Analyze failures / Quality issues happened in build production, Root cause analysis and corrective actions execution.•Lead process improvement team, improve work-flow and develop automatic line.Cost reduction.•Review P&L based on business demand.•Develop and maintain assembly process.•Responsible for team building, training, to make a good team.•Audit supplier process on related project include capacity/R&D capability/Lead time/quality performance.
