Wang Dong has rich working experiences in Lenovo for 19 years and Science Academic of China for 5 year. He is now an innovation and research director of Lenovo in BTIT Department, responsible for AI technology research and application in enterprise across multiple domains such as R&D, supply chain, sales, marketing and service, etc. Before this position, he was a Director of Lenovo End to End IT solution specially in Product Lifecycle and Supply Chain. Wang Dong has rich IT experiences across Management, Architecture and Technology. He has led teams in IT solution for various domains in areas of process transformation, architecture, and project delivering etc. He is IT founder of Lenovo PLM. He led teams build up international PLM for Lenovo PC, Server and Mobile which functions of design collaboration, IPD process, product release for global supply chain/sales/service, product information announcement, and quality with ERP and CRM solution. He is member of IT enterprise architecture group, leader of IT technical and professional committeeWang Dong are initiator, research and experienced management in AI. To introduce AI, He initiated IT AI Lab of Lenovo in 2016, organize AI in BTIT 2017 workshop and AI challengers 2018. He worked out AI idea to implement methodology (white paper) in enterprise value chain to direct projects implement. To lead BTIT to break through in AI technology and application practice. He build research team and technology management on two deep learning projects. He practice and experienced in AI project lifecycle (scenario selection, data source, model/paper selection, system Vs model, develop-deploy plate form, customer acceptance/engagement, people inspire in difficulty)
