I worked at Tawam Hospital (a John Hopkins affiliate) for 20 years where I established the ultrasound department where we grew the department from 1 machine in 1990 to 6 units in the main radiology department, 4 units at the off-campus hospital private clinics. We were able to then establish a separate OB/GYN department. Due to the success of this initiative, this allowed us to further expand our ultrasound department to another off-campus department that included:-Breast center department with 2 units-1 unit vascular labI was the head of the department for 8 years before leaving Tawam. I was responsible for machine tenders and specifications, protocols, scheduling, representing most of the vascular cases especially the dialysis accesses to the nephrologists, vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists.My responsibilities also entailed training and coaching vascular protocols and procedures.
