I now prioritize the key results my client needs someone to deliver, and whether they have the knowledge, skills, and experience to do it.Today, I look for verifiable evidence that they’ve delivered results in prior roles similar to what my client needs them to accomplish, evidence to support the hypothesis that we should consider hiring them.Today we assess if they’ve consistently been a high performer throughout their career – the achiever pattern.Today, we incorporate psychographic assessments to inform whether or not they could be a good fit. If they are, they’ll likely be more effective and stay longer.Today, we strive for a quality hire, a Win-Win where both the hiring manager and candidate are as happy with their decision on the first anniversary as they were on the start date.Today, a 21st-century methodology and technology can put you within reach of consistently hiring great people, saving time and money.
