About Donn Mann

I am a dedicated and driven individual with a history of rapidly advancing through the ranks of the U.S. Army. Starting as an E-1, I earned promotion orders for E-6 by the time I completed my contract, thanks to my unwavering work ethic and commitment. Throughout my military career, I managed teams ranging from two to twenty-three members, adapting quickly to any challenge thrown my way. One of my notable achievements includes overseeing the shipment and tracking of over $3 million worth of Army equipment from Iraq back to the U.S. My adaptability and quick learning ability have been crucial in my success, proving that with motivation and direction, anything is achievable. After my military service, I explored various professional roles, achieving success in each, though I have yet to find my true passion. Currently, I focus on nonprofit organizations and local committees, where I have found a deep sense of fulfillment. I played a pivotal role in starting the Legion Riders in my area and was elected Vice Director, overseeing the administrative operations for over 40 members. In addition, I serve as the Chairman of the Canteen Committee for the Legion, handling complex issues involving bylaws, facts, and actions to ensure fair decision-making.As the Chairman of my town's newly established Patriotic Committee, I oversee, plan, and execute patriotic events within our community. My goal is to further expand my knowledge through life experiences and formal education, with aspirations of transitioning into a career in the nonprofit sector or starting my own organization. Recently, I have served as the 2nd Vice Commander, responsible for entertainment, and have now been elected as the Commander of the post. In this role, I manage 15 employees, 13 officers, and oversee a canteen that generates around $2 million annually. At the heart of my endeavors is my family. My three amazing children are the driving force behind everything I do. I strive to be a selfless, hardworking role model for them, showing the importance of caring for others and contributing positively to our community. My ultimate aim is to leave a better community for them to grow in, instilling values of dedication, hard work, and compassion.
