I am a soon-to-be graduate from the University of Georgia's Master of Social Work program with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025.Through this program, I have completed internships with Athens-Oconee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA; 2019-2020), The University of Georgia's Veterinary Teaching Hospital (2023-2024), and Agape Hospice (present). I was a volunteer puppy raiser for both the Guide Dog Foundation & America's VetDogs (2016-2020) and Dogs Inc (formally Southeastern Guide Dogs; 2023-Present). In this role, I was responsible for the raising, training, and socialization of future guide and service dogs destined to grant independence to those living with disabilities. I held the title of Athens-Area Puppy Advisor for the Guide Dog Foundation & America's VetDogs 2020-2022 overseeing ~300 volunteers and ~100 service dogs.In June 2022, I opened SunSetter Dog Training, LLC in an attempt to bring force-free/fear-free positive reinforcement training methods to my community.
