Working in the Accounting Field since 1982, I started my career with a 10 year position within a CPA firm as a bookkeeper for multiple companies then moved into tax preparation after receiving training through working side by side with the owner of the company. I learned very quickly that I enjoyed the fast paced ever changing environment of interacting with the public and the various types of companies. Being "hands on" and digging in the trenches was for me the best learning tool I could ever have received. Perseverance was the key along with the willingness to take on any task regardless of how big or small. I have always been hungry for knowledge and it has definitely paid off. I have since held practically every position possible within an accounting department including some purchasing. Over the past 30 years I have worked for a CPA office, valve manufacturing company, machine shops, tool rental company, oil company and an environmental clean up company. I have had the privilege of working closely to various owners of companies I have worked at as their personal secretary and assistant in addition to my primary position. I work well as a team player, as the leader of the team or as the sole member of the team. I will always be a dedicated employee wherever I work.
