Profile bio

About Donna Hawk

I love problems. Big problems, little problems, technical problems, ignored problems, people problems, process problems, “you won’t understand” problems. Let me at them. I don’t want to control them, own them or tell you how to fix them. I want to listen. I want to learn. I’m very curious. I want to help you find the ultimate “why” of the problem. I want to help you uncover solutions that may be challenging but you will enjoy implementing. I want to build relationships of trust that continue long after the problem is solved so you’ll invite me into other problems. This is how I became a teammate not just a co-worker, a mentor, a technical customer support manager, a facilitator and a product manager. It’s what led me to get my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Scrum Product Owner and Pragmatic Marketing certifications. It also explains my love of whiteboards, multi-colored sticky notes and a good plan.I excel in groups of people who have never met each other that need to quickly become a team to achieve a larger goal. I flourish in teams that can finish each other’s sentences but can’t talk about long-held resentments. I can speak with technical and non-technical people and enjoy finding analogies so everyone gains common knowledge.Life is short. I consciously want to choose work that is challenging but generously sprinkled with laughter. Projects that thrive on real conversations. People that welcome real problems.

Listed skills include Change Management, Account Management, Project Management, Salesforce.Com, and 18 others.
