• Prepare title insurance commitments and policies, insuring accuracy and quality• Review real property title abstracts• Review house location surveys• Verify real property tax bills, assessments & information• Review real estate sales contracts & addenda• Coordinate with legal counsel to prepare and finalize legal documents for real estate closings• Communicate effectively with loan officers and banking officials, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, outside attorneys, courthouse personnel, taxing authorities, title insurance underwriters, surveyors, builders and architects• Prepare legal and loan documents including deeds, deeds of trust, promissory notes, assignments, releases, certificates of satisfaction, etc.• Prepare documents for filing with courts, land records and taxing authorities• Liaison between organization with brokers and agents, outside counsel, & parties to transaction• Coordinate and execute legal-oriented projects as assigned by staff attorneys
