In this role, I am responsible for leading and overseeing various teams and initiatives within the organization. This includes managing a regional coordinator team, overseeing the growth and management of the Hospital Navigator team, and leading the Health Care Liaison officer. A key aspect of my role involves the management, mentoring, coaching, and overall development of staff.I am actively involved in identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance and expand our services, with a particular focus on growing our Leukaemia Care Navigator program, which supports patients holistically improving patient experience. Additionally, I am tasked with developing a strategic plan for the patient services team, ensuring that our services align with the established frameworks of Leukaemia Care.To guarantee the effective functioning of our programs, I collaborate closely with various departments across the charity, managing budgets and providing detailed reports on service performance. Maintaining strong links with stakeholders is a priority, and I work to foster and strengthen these relationships to ensure the ongoing success and impact of our initiatives.

I delivered structured 1:1 stop-smoking cessation sessions throughout Bedford. Additionally, I initiated and led group sessions, demonstrating my commitment to fostering supportive environments for individuals seeking to quit smoking.As a lead on the Smoking in Pregnancy project, I implementing innovative initiatives across maternity services to address unique challenges. providing crucial support to GP practices, ensuring continuous training, and conducted performance reviews to enhance overall effectiveness.Remaining at the forefront of industry standards, I consistently kept abreast of NICE guidance, facilitating regular updates to the team and key stakeholders to ensure everyone remained informed and aligned with the latest best practices.Dedicated to community outreach, I conducted information stands to raise public awareness of health risks associated with smoking. Moreover, I undertook hospital patient support, strategically replenishing resources across various hospital departments.My responsibilities extended to meticulous diary management, maintaining accurate client files, and actively engaging with hard-to-reach communities.
