Ports are bringing their complex environment up to date with a new central operating system application, which will lie at the heart of a multi-interface, multi-functional business. The automation project goal is to deliver an agreed set of business critical automated functional tests concentrating on the Navis N4 and XPS applications which manage the movement of containers in, out and around the Port. N4 is currently used at over 100 Ports worldwide.The deliverables will be a suite of flexible, end-to-end test scenarios, with an emphasis on robust easily maintainable code.

- Assist the Manager: Testing in creation and promotion of an automation strategy and process framework within Telstraclear- Creation and maintenance of automation scripts through the use of available toolsets - Mentor and develop IT&P Test and Development resource in the use of the automation - Management reporting on progress of automation scripting- Ensure Manager Testing and/or Test Lead is kept informed of issues, problems and threats to maintaining agreed timetable for testing

I was brought into this position to create a QA department at Fujitsu for the purpose of meeting SLAs required for new applications and patches written by the development and support team.
