i have extensive experience in crisis intervention. working as an EMT on a volunteer ambulance for 29yrs,a suicide/crisis hotline,a critical incident stress management program and as an ER social worker covering medical/trauma/pediatric and psychiatric. i have experience in death and dying on the ambulance and in my work with HIV/AIDS pts. as social worker casemanger. i have also worked to develop and render services for elder abuse clients. i have worked with a large caseload of diverse psychotherapy clients utlizing EMDR,Gestalt therapy and an electic mix. my goals are to establish a group practice of gestalt trained therapists who have other skills and gifts to offer. my other goal is to continue to learn from every source avaliable to me. most importantly my clients. I wish to add that through what i have witnessed in my paid and volunteer work i know a great deal about suffering and death and dying both from a physical and a psychological and spirtual frame of reference. i would also like to share with you that i have suffered from major depression most of my life. So i do know something about pain and existing rather than living.
