Plan the work for the unit, adjusting work schedules as needed to meet the staffing and patient care needs. Perform the full range of patient care duties.Closely observe patients for conditions that may require emergency measures; recognize, identify, and interpret serious clinical situations, initiate and provide appropriate immediate/emergency measures. Set up, operate and monitor specialized equipment. Participate with the hospital performance improvement coordinator to assure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and other applicable accreditation standards. Apply and implement EEO program and guidelines.

Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Analyze diverse financial management technical methods, techniques, precedent cases, and procedures to resolve an extensive range of difficult financial technical issues or problems
