Hi I’m Donna and my background is as a busy senior manager in the NHS this was mainly managing GM wide tertiary surgical services and also as an assistant chief operating officer of a specialist cancer hospital.I joined the NHS because I loved helping provide the tools for clinicians to deliver the best possible care to the Manchester public.... I found my passion 😍 I adored my job! Strategic working was a strength with my breadth of experience in managing complex services, teams and multi layered hospital arrangements to deliver care. However, what I found was that my dream job didn’t always lend its self to being a solo parent or having a healthy work life balance .... long hours, on call shifts, early and late meetings on and off site made juggling life a massive challenge for me.... always the first mum dropping my son at child care in the morning and the last picking him up. I felt unhealthy, burnt out and neglected myself completely. I had nothing left at the end of the work day for my son. So I truly understand how work stress can massively impact not only our health but our job as a parent and a good employee.I started looking for options and found online working… I absolutely fell in love with being my own boss, the flexibility of deciding my pay, the mentorship, the ability to be location flexible too. You do have to learn some new skills but it’s hands down the best decision. I ever made for my quality of life, my health and my family. I now help other people to create this life and that is the best job in the world.
