Consulting Government Affairs Director: August 2011 – PresentResponsible for representing the Association in community functions, monitoring and tracking issues directly impacting the real estate industry at the local, regional, state and national governmental meetings, communicating with elected officials and with staff of various governmental agencies, report to the Legislative Committee, CEO, leadership, and membership as necessary, manage issue campaigns, and staff candidate interviews.

2002 ­ Present Company set up, management, marketing, and engineering; Storm Water management services, which include the preparation of Notices of Intent (NOI's), Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) as well as comprehensive training and inspection services.

November 2004 ­ - March 2010 Opened and managed civil engineering, planning, and surveying satellite office; Set up office, hired and trained all personnel, marketed company through involvement in the community; successfully completed entitlements for over 4000 residential home sites. Completed improvement plans and mapping for approximately 500 home sites in Bakersfield and the surrounding area; Worked on an estimated 250 acres of commercial and industrial projects that include a Medical Office Campus, Retail Center and Industrial Park; Provided surveying and mapping services for in excess of 8,000 acres, engineering and surveying work for various local elementary schools, due diligence investigations for numerous developers and planning and engineering for many other residential and commercial projects; obtained over 150 contracts.

August, 1985 ­ November 2004 Assisted in set up and management of the planning, engineering, surveying, printing and accounting departments; Performed entitlement work, prepared calculations, design and preparation of improvement plans and subdivision maps, and agency processing for hundreds of residential, commercial and industrial developments throughout southern California.
