In-Home Care

My father was 84 years old and approaching renal failure when Mom suffered a brain hemorrhage at the age of 77. Per their request, I was their caregiver and Trustee, with all Powers of Attorney, responsible for their medical care, rehabilitation, reinforcement of all modes of therapy (including physical, speech and occupational), personal finances and overall well-being. Worked with the Arizona Veteran's Administration, an Estate Attorney, a Financial Planner for Elder Care, Area Agency on Aging (AAoA) and others in preparation for final affairs. Also responsible for locating community services offering geriatric support. My father died of kidney failure at age 88, in March, 2011.
