3M acquired the Membrana Business from Polypore International in August 2015, creating the 3M Separation and Purification Sciences Division.  Planned and managed tradeshows in Europe, Asia, North America, Australia and Latin America, plus across multiple markets (oil and gas, water treatment, beverage and digital printing). Implemented pre-show and post-show reviews, producing summaries for follow-up and assessment. Supported local / remote direct sales staff and 16 global agents and distributors in trade show planning. Facilitated conversion from Microsoft CRM to Salesforce for lead tracking, delivering training.  Co-developed trade show budget of approximately $500K and compiled summaries that tracked expenses to actual costs. Assumed tradeshow management for department, liaising across three product lines and managers. Served as interim Human Resources Coordinator while maintaining daily duties, facilitating transition of HR support from Polypore to 3M from 2015 – 2017.

A $210 million business unit within Polypore specializing in medical and industrial membranes for the filtration and separation of gases and liquids. Organized logistics, negotiated locations, supported booth design, completed documentation, confirmed reservations and addressed all planning involved in national and international shows. Developed expense reports, arranged travel, booked meetings and delivered presentations. Entrusted to manage trade show and event planning within first six months in role based on prior expertise and performance.  Lowered trade show shipping costs by utilizing ocean vs. air for transport. Served as SharePoint administrator, implementing platform as key business tool to store marketing files and establish work processes. Named first runner-up for best booth design at Singapore International Water Week in 2012. Created 12-15 trade show / conference summary and evaluation reports annually. Updated global website and collaborated with translators in finalizing marketing materials across eight languages. Designated as Site Safety Coordinator, overseeing compliance with environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards within department. Ensured completion of mandatory team training, recordkeeping and audit preparation, in coordination with Safety Manager.

Springs Creative is a global leader in Innovation in Textiles, providing fabric-by-the-yard, finished products, design services, digital printing, supply chain services, and more. Administered trade show budget of $400K and spearheaded special projects / presentations for major retail accounts.  Directed development of all Wal-Mart collateral materials, supporting creation of product-specific promotional / sales tools. Ensured consistent promotional support by communicating with key account managers.  Earned fabric industry’s “Best Booth” award for three consecutive years (2005 – 2007), acknowledging excellence in overall design, layout and messaging.  Reduced photography costs more than 60% by leveraging internal creative resources, bringing projects in house.  Created weekly flow chart to manage department projects, enhancing team awareness of key benchmarks, milestones and processes while facilitating communication.
