About Don Orr

Change Management leader with over 20 years of experience helping organizations solve critical strategic issues, identify opportunities for improvement, implement high-value solutions, and enable people to successfully adopt and sustain change to deliver business results.I have a passion for helping organizations successfully implement and manage change in a way that creates positive results internally and externally. In my experience, where the rubber meets the road is the people side of change. I believe this is where initiatives live or die, and the degree to which we support people determines how effectively they will engage and adopt new ways of working, and ultimately how successful the change will be.As an Organizational Change practitioner, I lead impact assessments and facilitate workshops to help organizations understand the Why, What, Who and How of a change. I am a strong believer in diverse, cross-functional teams where each voice is heard, and it begins with everyone having a clear understanding of why a change is needed. This inspires people to move from being skeptical and resistant to becoming part of the solution. I also insist on thoughtful two-way communications that engage stakeholders and maintain transparency. As a Process Improvement leader, I help companies understand business issues, determine root causes, and identify opportunities for improvement, growth, and increased organizational effectiveness, placing a heavy reliance on cost-benefit analyses to justify recommendations. The pace of change is accelerating faster today than ever, and an organization’s ability to adapt is an enabler of future success. Conversely, companies that are unable to change risk getting left behind. I love helping organizations adapt and find ways to continually push expectations and achieve more than they were able to accomplish previously. This usually means change, and the way we manage change makes all the difference.Ways to contact me:Don Orrdonorr@gmail.com
