I was born in Dallas Texas. I moved around a lot over the country but planted my roots growing up in a small north Texas town, Van Alstyne. I am currently studying at The University of North Texas. Outside of the office I enjoy pursuing hobbies and interests to enrich myself and the world around me. Such as painting, reading, and exploring the occasional hole-in-the-wall.Currently, I am a Credit Compliance Analyst for Veritex Bank. I monitor loan covenants, borrowing-base requirements, and help stay in compliance with established loan agreements. I work closely with the Credit and Lending team to identify any warning signs and reduce exposure for the bank.Previously I explored lines of work in the food industry to grow as an individual. This set the foundation for my interpersonal and communication skills as well as a deep understanding of being a team player. During this time, I explored an opportunity to work as a bartender for Brinker International’s brand Chilis to pay for my Associates in Business Management from Pima Community College.I'm always growing and learning. School is a big focus of my life and I try to expose myself to many aspects of the financial industry so that I am more prepared when I have my degree. I am pursuing a Masters in Accounting. School cannot teach me everything I will need to know so I am using my career to build a foundation of experience to round out my education.
