Handles all aspects of day-to-day business and legal activities for the second largest rehabilitation hospital group in Texas with seven rehabilitation hospitals and two new hospitals in development; the group produces more than $70M in annual revenue. Designed and implemented business and legal strategies that enabled growth from a one-hospital operation with $6.2M in annual income to a seven-hospital group producing $70M+ in yearly revenue. Negotiated a wide-array of regulatory compliance issues for the hospital group, troubleshooting and resolving complex healthcare law issues such as Stark Law and HIPPA. Obtained budget approval and negotiated leases on six hospitals which includes two de nova hospitals under construction; secured funding, led site selection, and contracted third-party developers for the construction projects. Successfully achieved the acquisition of one rehabilitation hospital during the growth period.

Provided consultancy service to a company who has served as strategic advisor to $1.2B+ in early-stage and middle-market transitions spanning angel investments, to LBOs and recapitalizations. Delivered support for all facets of due diligence for companies seeking assistance in financing and directed the negotiation of documents for financing of transactions. Prepared and marketed 40+ private placement memorandums for clients, securing $95M+ equity investment funds.

Directed aspects of AIG, a financial services company providing surety bonds to small/mid-sized government, commercial, and residential contracts ranging between $5M and $20M. Created and executed a new business model designed to increase agent participation in the P&L of business; built and steered teams to maximize performance and complete projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Expanded a company that operated in two states and generated $18M annual revenue to a 22-state operation with $200M in gross revenue over a three-year growth stint that culminated in a highly successful IPO. Manage 210 employees, prepared acquisition financing, and launched multiple marketing campaigns.
