Performing all or some of the following duties in all roles with varying levels of responsibility:• Overseeing daily operations with meticulous attention to detail• Supervising, coaching, training, motivating and mentoring the aftersales controller, G&A controller, procurement manager and the parts pricing analyst• Fully responsible for the monthly, quarterly, bi-annual forecast and annual budget of the profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet reporting to Head office and into relevant systems. • Investigating monthly P&L and balance sheet variances versus forecast and budget including revenue, discounts, standard costs, logistics costs, SG&A, advertising and inventory line items• Reviewing and approving monthly Aftersales and G&A accrual and provision journals• Responsible for pricing, discounts and special parts pricing approval process• Ensuring all parts achieve positive margin, maintaining the correct delegation of authority• Managing and supporting annual external audit of financial statements relevant to the Aftersales and Vehicles Department• Supporting the successful implementation of the global and local merger between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles South Africa and Peugeot Citroen South Africa businesses • Calculating, analysing and reporting the monthly Parts and Vehicle profitability and variance analysis based on SAP data• Managing and releasing purchase orders• Reconciling balance sheet accounts for warranty, inventory, payables, discounts, advertising and obsolescence accounts, to ensure accuracy and compliance• Coordinating annual stock counts, preparing stock count reconciliation and follow up • Performing as a strong member of a cohesive team with strict adherence to statutory regulations, service level agreements, quality standards, governance processes and compliance requirements

Performing all or some of the following duties in all roles with varying levels of responsibility:• Preparing retail and fleet quarterly, forecast and budget variable marketing financial plans• Business partner to the marketing and sales variable marketing manager • Working with the sales planning team to appropriately scrutinise forecast volumes• Understanding profit and contribution margins of SA and SSA to support management decisions regarding revenue management• Taking ownership of the end-to-end P&L forecast process • Preparing the financials required in the monthly sales and operating plan deck, focused on forecast accuracy and bias• Lead on SmartView forecasting tool• Managing profit and loss statements• Calculating the financial impact of various innovations, pricing and projects • Preparing and investigating in month gross margin variance’s at brand and category level versus forecast, and determining the full year impact on forecast• Preparing and presenting financial reports to global directors• Member of the project team implementing a new cash up tool system, designed to enable agile and efficient finance
