I have taught both HS Geometry to predominantly 10th graders and Algebra 1 to 9th graders For our on-line delivery, we used ZOOM to encourage and engage students in classroom discussion and GoGuardian to monitor student on-line behavior.This year, we used Moodle as our platform to deliver assignments and post daily links.Last year, when we all shut down in March of 2020, we used Google Classroom.I have ventured out of my comfort zoom and have used various websites to enhance student engagement: Whiteboard.fi , Classkick, Desmos, WordWall, Kahoot and I am exploring Flipgrid. I am very familiar with the 6th, 7th and 8th grade curriculum and standards and have as of this year become very familiar with the 9th grade and 10th grade curriculum and standards.I greatly enjoy teaching 8th, 9th and 10 graders because I find the curriculum to be less concentrated and manageable for students to learn.
